FS Canon EF-S 10-22 lens
#6
up in the air about both. I have a 15-30 Sigma EX and it is my favorite lens (second maybe to my Lensbaby), but know the L would kick butt on my new 7D (AF on the Sigma sounds like a toy train or R/C car playing over the audio). and I know I'd love the 10-20, just cus I love WA shots and the disortion you get w/ a good WA.
had got the 15-30 because i was planning on going FF, and it's the widest lens avail...but the 7D crop kind of hinders that. meh...why such a quandary?

how sharp is it at 4-4.5? i know it's got to be sharper than some of my other gear, but just wondering at wide-open, if you can see any drop-off.
any notable difference?
I've always been leery about f4 L lenses...seems like a stumbling block to me w/ having a wider aperture. I understand on some of the longer zooms, but would be a no-brainer if it was a faster lens at 2.8.

at F4 it was still pretty sharp wide open. Was impressed alot by this little lens. I couldn't see any drop-off myself.
yeah 2.8 would be nice but it would also be another 500-700 more
