any chance you can just scratch off the "canon" name and just write in "nikon" so i can buy it and pretend it will work on my camera?

or you could dump your nikon gear and convert to canon i'll give you an educators discount. lol

This is a great lens and my favorite non-prime, so awesome for indoor or low-light situations! I'm definitely picking one of these up as soon as possible! 50mm 1.4 is still my favorite overall (because I have not used the 1.0 or 1.2 of course).
