Details
N-1 Damper Systems provide awesome driver feedback and response, as well as a high level of tuning flexibility.
Apexi Type-V Coilovers Born from the grueling N-1 Endurance Race Series, the Apexi N-1 Dampers feature adjustable spring perches and adjustable lower collars so that ride height can be changed without affecting the length of the damper stroke.
The shock absorber is a gas-charged, short-case, short-stroke, monotube design that can be fine-tuned with its 13-step ride adjustment settings. With the proper equipment and technical knowledge, the dampers can be disassembled, revalved and rebuilt to suit the requirements of hardcore suspension gurus.
The Apexi N1 Type-V system also includes high-performance upper pillow mounts (unless indicated otherwise) to complete this comprehensive damper system.
Apexi N-1 Damper Systems use the highest quality materials and are manufactured in-house at our Fuji, Japan factory to tightly monitor quality control and ensure years of reliable service.Apexi N1 type-V dampers will offer awesome driver feedback and response; Innovative height adjustment design Premium Coil Over dampers.
Condition
Bought them from another member on the board roughly a year ago. Found them to be way to stiff and aggressive for my driving style. Since I do a lot of commuting I needed something a bit more "streetable."
There is nothing cosmetically wrong with them, however, I did find there to be some "clunking" from the front driver side. The shop that removed them said they could not see or feel anything wrong with them (ie. no leaking) , but I still feel the need to throw the disclaimer out there in advance. Furthermore, a top stud was broken off from over torquing, but was replaced with a new one.
I'm asking $400 obo +3% PayPal Fees for them (retail $2500) since condition is not fully perfect. Located in Campbell willing to meet up. Thanks for looking!

Would you happen to know the spring rates on these? My 8k/6k BC Racing coilovers feel a smidge soft for me. Have had plenty of rides in a 12k/10k Tein setup and that felt pretty good. Just curious if yours are 10/8 by any chance and looking for any trades?
