FS: AMD64 3700+ 1GB 36.7 raptor 250GB WD geforce 7800GS 256mb w/ sonata II case 17"
Ok guys, here are the parts in the computer I built not too long ago. I have the boxes for the mobo and the vid card. The parts are listed with what they go for new RIGHT NOW.
36.7 gb 10k rpm SATA raptor - 108$
200GB WD200 7200 rpm sata - ~$70
Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe motherboard - $113.29
AMD64 3700+ w/ heatsink and fan - $98.50
1gb (2x matched 512) kingston hyperx ddr400 ram - $125
Nvidia GeForce 6800 GS w/ 256mb ddr3 PCI-E - ~$220
Antec Sonata II case + 450 watt antec psu - $120
It has a dvd-rom / cd-rw drive by samsung (awsome drive) - ~$20
All together everything is worth collectively new about $875. Windows will not be included with this computer, all though I can include it if you want to pay for my copy i suppose..But anyway, I think a fair asking price is $600. If paid through paypal, I would need a bit extra to cover fees. I can drop it off to someone thats relatively close to me - I live in the san ramon / danville area. Its an awsome gaming machine bf2 anyone?
OH. I also have a hyundai 17" LCD available for sale - its not a big name brand (for the most part) but its been an awsome screen. Its vga (analog) only, its color scheme is silver and black, and it has a really thin bezel so its really nice and clean. Here are its specs. Its been a great screen but I need something larger w/ dvi.
* 17 Inch Viewable SXGA(1280x1024) LCD
* Brightness 300 cd/m2
* Contrast Ratio 700 : 1 (Typical)
* Response Time 8ms
* High quality screen rescaling capability
* Image Color Matching Profile
* Analog Interface
* External power supply
* Power Management (VESA DPMS)
* Plug-and-Play (VESA DDC1/2B Compatibility)
* TCO’99/03 Certified
* Support VESA Physical Mounting Interface
They go for anywhere from 200 - 300+ new. I am willing to let it go for $150. I paid like 250 or something for it new.
If anyone has questions, please ask. Everything is in perfect condition.

no body wants to buy used equipment for a retail price.

Theres a reason that display goes for how much it does. Compare the stats. Brightness is ok, the response time is 4 times slower than my display, and its contrast ratio is a lot lower. You get what you pay for.
Edit - Can I emphasize how much a 25ms response time sucks? Especially if you expect to play a fast paced FPS.

* Display Area 13.3" horizontal x 10.6" vertical; 17.0" diagonal

* Contrast Ratio 450:1 (typ)
* Viewing Angle 140° horizontal, 130° vertical
* Response Time 25ms (typ)
* Light Source Long life, 40,000 hrs. (typ)

I also had two viewsonic 19" LCD's and they had horrible discoloration. Definately not designed for a professional evironment where color is key :/.
