what kind of tires are those and how much tread depth is there? I know you said 65% but what does that look like?
Did you confirm the air leak is from the chipped area (doesn't look like a bend)?

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I have updated the info in my original post. Also, it is not confirmed 100% that the leak is from that area however I'd say I'm 90% sure.

whatcha currently running? Every time I take a good look at my car I lust for some ohlins coils and some 17x9 +42 torques with 245/40s all around....mmmm.
