FS: 225-35-ZR17 Zexius Tires $150 obo for 4
Hey guys,
Finally got my new set of potenzas mounted and now have these take offs for sale. They are Zexius 225/35/ZR17 tires. The tires have a decent amount of tread left on them, but the two tires that were mounted on the front have more wear on the outer edges.
ASKING PRICE: $70 CASH
Thanks
Will

thats pretty low on tread... i mean if i were to get pulled over with those tires and the cop actually checks the wear bar(which most cops dont check) i would get a fix it ticket for the worn tires... just letting you know.these are great tires though

yeah, you can see the wear bars and it looks like the tread is pretty damn close to them. I don't mean to ruin your thread, I'm just looking out for fellow i-clubbers so they don't waste money buying tires that aren't safe to use.

Where are the wear bars that you guys are seeing? I looked at the tires and i didnt see anything, but maybe i am missing something.
I know they are low on tread but you never know people always have a reason for something. Thats why they are four for the price of 1. and its best offer, i listed at 150 for negotiation purposes

ok. the wear bar is in the center grove of the tire where it cuts off the center grove. if you look at picture number 2, tire 3 you will see what we are talkin about.

As he wrote on the picture, the wear bar looks pretty flush with the rest of the tread in all of the pictures you can see them in. This means that the tread depth is now shallower than the legal limit (2/32" in CA). Street tires are not supposed to be run until they are as bald as racing slicks (with the exception of 1 or 2 specific models).

Thats was my mistake, i thought you guys were talking about the teal dotted line in the middle of the tire.
Well none the less they can still be used for other reasons then street use, hence why its only 150 obo.
Let everyone be aware that the wear bars are showing
