FS: 2006 Yamaha R6 raven edition

Tough times have come down on me and I need to sell the bike. I don't even ride it on the street anymore since trackdays are way more fun. I just need it gone asap to help pay bills.

2006 R6 raven edition. Clean title in hand, no liens. I am the second owner. 18,xxx miles on it. Regularly serviced and have a folder full of records of everything. The bike is mechanically great. It's the best R6 of the 4 i've owned. The previous owner low sided it what looks to be at a low speed on the street and at the track. So there's a few scratches on the street fairings but barely any and it's actually not really noticeable either.. Frame is straight though and rides great. I've done a few trackdays on it already and has been great on the street to. The transmission was replaced by San Jose Yamaha by the previous owner as well at around 15k miles I think. It's been a great bike and am sad to have to let it go.

Some stuff the bike has:

Registration paid until April 2011
New battery
2008 R6 bronze wheels swapped in.
Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa dot race tires
Racetech front springs, Ohlins fluid, and GP valving
Suspension tuned by Dave Moss
Adjustable lever
EXUP delete
Graves smog plates
Puig light smoke db windscreen
Sharkinz track fairings (pretty beat up)
Galfer SS front lines
Yamaha OEM rear cowl and seat
Flush mount signals
smaller rear fender
R&G frame and swingarm sliders
Stomp tank grips
Factory toolset
Probably more things that I can't remember right now.

I will also include a rear stand if you want and gear you can buy with it as well including jacket, helmet, boots, suit, gloves, etc.
Feel free to ask any questions.
I will be at Laguna Seca on June 8th if you want to see the bike or any gear.

I-club special price $5000

Shoot me a pm. Worst I can say to an offer is "no." I'm also interested in trades+cash. Like a cheap dirtbike/motard. Subaru WRX parts, turbos, etc. Maybe a cheap boat?

TIA,
Dan

Thanks for the bump. Ya, they're fun. Unfortunately once you start track riding, you no longer like to ride on the street. You should buy it. Or trade me your car for it. Just kidding.

Bump and a pic from Laguna Seca on Tuesday.

I'm too sissy to track a sportbike I'll stick to motocross racing and leave the track to you

I honestly find it waaay better than street riding. Street is slow, variable, and dangerous. Track is wide open, smooth, and you don't have to worry about that 80 year old blind woman crossing the double yellow.

On the other hand, I think all you motox trackers are nuts!
