I think the alignment issue is a TSB problem with the early batch of 350s. Nissan is supposed to be fixing the issue under warranty. Sounds like he just scraped something maybe?

I think he's asking WAY too much money.

* He's commuted 110 miles per day in that car, in addition to any normal driving he's done. He doesn't list the total miles but I'm guessing they're high.

* He scratched up the front end and says it only needs $400 or so worth of repairs. Did he get an estimate for that? Most body shops would not just paint the damaged area, they would strip and repaint the entire affected body panel. That = $$. I got quotes of $500 - $1000 to fix some scratches on my hood because the body shops wanted to repaint the whole thing.

* The Z MSRPs for $34k and I doubt they're still selling for that at the dealer.

Good luck to him.

yeah, i didn't read the post too clearly...

but i did find out that he has 20,500 miles on the car...

accident? wut accident? i don't believe the car's been in any accidents. he's fixed a lot of stuph under warranty/recall, etc.

as for the scratch, it's not too bad since the car has that clear bra thing on the front....

in terms of price.. i agree tho that it's a bit high. but you never know. i'd say posting on craigslist one would expect ppl to bargain, and posting high leaves more room to bargain with...
