as you can see...its pretty high up. I couldnt climb up there with my broken fingers....
It pretty clean (dusty) as far as condition...the chips are on the edges (by the windshield) just like it sitting...the 2 corners...nothing a little bondo or fiberglass resien wouldnt fix. I think there is a little chip (looking at the pic) right above the reverse scoop grill...on the edge. The scratches arent as deep as i posted..just getting to the point that they do need to be wet sanded and then the hood would need to be painted.
The white spots you see are just dirt or something...not damage
I was going to just fix these areas (within 1hr. or 2), paint it and use it...but as you know, I decided to part it out.
the shop was busy...I couldnt stop thier production so I could move thier customer cars and get a forklift over there for a better pic....sorry

PM's replied about shortblock....just got back from machine shop 8.14.09, no core needed...just sell your old block and get money back. Couldnt ask for a better deal

yup I could do that...I rather not part it out, if you want you could sell the pod or whatever you dont need. Everything looks good..I bought them NEW and only used them for about 6 months.
I'll be in Hayward tomorrow at GST, if you wanted to meet up. or any other time during the week.
