FS: 1979 Porsche 911 SC - $8500

SOLD!!!!

160K on the car, less than 20K on recent 3.0 rebuild
Sport exhaust
Genuine Fuch wheels with new-ish tires
new brakes/rotors all around
Turbo Tail
Later 911 lower valance/lip
Corbeu Seats + wheel
Harness bar and Scroth harnesses (never installed these but will include)

This Gary of GD racings personal car he built up from a bare shell about 10 years ago, so everything on it has been gone through by one of the best air-cooled Porsche mechanics in the bay area. Everything works, car runs and drives perfect. Ive been using it as my daily all summer with ZERO issues, car needs nothing!
Only reason Im selling it is to get the crate motor for my vette Im trying to get back on the road by the end of the year.

THE BAD: only two issues, first, the car was a theft recovery, Gary got it as stripped out shell years ago, so it does have a salv title. Second, it was resprayed when he put it all back together about 10 years ago and the paint job isnt the best, its got some runs and some cracks here and there but it looks good from 10 feet away!

Gary knows this car inside and out though, so if your worried about getting into and old Porsche hes the guy to take it to. Let me know if you have any other questions, I'll get some more/better pics up soon!

These cars are fun I used to have a 1980 targa (pic related) but I always preferred the hard tops.

Shouldn't be hard for you to get your asking price IMO.

Nice gift.

I'm surprised Jeff isn't trying to talk you outta this. I think he's holding out for a 911 though.
