EJ series motor out of a Forester. Not a 2001-up model. Not sure if it's it's a 2.2 or a 2.5.

Drainplug fell out on the freeway, and I don't know if the motor seized or not. The customer got a new engine, and they just threw away the old one.

Motor has no oil pan, manifolds, or accesory's. Just a long block.

Motor is in Orinda at Orinda motors.

Block has 25L and 25R stamped on the bottom. I think it's a EJ25.

This is not Orinda Motor's giving away stuff. This is an employee who found a engine in the trash, and is offering it to anyone who wants it.

 

I believe the forester only came with the 2.5

 

I belive your right. If no one comes and claims it by closing time today, 5:30, I'm going to keep it.
