Feeler: Legacy GT front brakes for WRX
I'm thinking about going back to regular WRX calipers and rotors from my current Legacy GT setup.
Anyone interested in a set of Legacy GT front brakes? Includes Calipers, 5x100 rotors and Hawk HP pads. It's all still on the car and I don't have measurements of pad depth and rotor thickness, but can get those if there's interest. Calipers are painted black, with the paint in OK condition.
For the uninitiated this is a good "poor man's BBK" setup for the WRX (or '04 STi). Bigger calipers and rotors than stock, and these won't fit under 16" stock WRX wheels. Good braking torque bump. I've noticed some rubbing when cornering sharply, but it's not horribly intrusive. You'll need to bend your rotor backing plates back a few degrees to accomodate the larger rotor diameter, otherwise they bolt right up.
Thinking $220 picked up in Oakland.
