Sounds like a keeper...

The car that is!

You're gonna lose your *** selling this car, unless you have the stock parts and you sell your mods. Do you do the maintenance yourself? Unfortunately you're not gonna get much for it unless you find a inexperienced/young buyer. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with it, but as you already know, the rebuilt title is really screwing you.

My advice, is to cut corners elsewhere (Cable TV, eating out, etc.). It sounds like a really nice car and you'll miss it. As a father you have to make sacrifices, but you need to take care of yourself too!

Good luck and congratulations!

10k wont last you long.....but the headache of knowing you traded your car for a civic,mazda3,corrolla..ect (theyre all the same) wont ever go away. You will loose too much. If the car is paid off already and you dont have a car payment ....what else can you ask for? Once you blow the 10k youll be back were you are now with no 10k and a car thats paid off...(just now its a civic and not a fully built STi)......your call. I have a little girl but my STi too..its a must..

I'm a recent father. Try to hold on to the car if you can. Once the baby is here you will never have the dough to rebuild it. I definitely respect the thought and heart and responsibility in the thought. I've come close to selling all my ****.

I'd try and tough it out. See if you can make it happen. Don't panic and sell it. Sell it if you need to.

good for you for even thinking about making sacrifices to support your family. whatever you do, don't regret your decisions. Whichever way you go, good luck man. Hope it all works out.

worse comes to worse, you can always trade someone here for a wagon or forrester :-)

If u sell just part the car out, or keep it, a 2 door is not the best family car in the first place!

yeah, Matt's right. i think you can do just fine with what you have....buy if you need the extra money, yeah.

Start trying to accumulate the necessities like infant seat, formula, diapers - you're going to need a ton of diapers. and get your sleep now.
