Car Info: WRX Bugeye
Feeler: 2003 WRX

I am the 2nd owner of the car, I bought it stock and over the past 3 years I have slightly modified it. Car has currently 151,XXX (I do not drive the car anymore)

Current mods:
- Swift springs
- Borla hush cbe
- Invidia up
- Prosport 52mm boost gauge
- AEM wideband (willing to part out)
- Autometer gauge cluster
- JDM sti hood scoop
- Kartboy SS
- Kartboy "rear clunk sound delete" bushings

I also did have a Cobb DP on the car, but sold it. I did flash the car via tactrix and was running a few maps from romraider.

CURRENT STATUS:

Car has a leaking valve through cylinder #1 (Leakdown/Compression test done by EQ tuning, receipts on hand). As of now only option for this car is a new engine or replace cylinder heads.

Car is still driveable, but throws multiple misfires. Smog was done few months ago. Looking to get $3,500-4,000

That is absurd. I had ALL of the intake valves in a set of DOHC heads replaced, along with all other required work, for $650. Typical labor cost to pull an engine and do a head gasket/ T-belt job is $800-$1000. A good DIY refresh/T-belt/head gasket could be done for around a thousand, and that is ONLY if more than a couple valves need replacement.

There is no need to tear the short block down if it has no other issues. Hell, you could replace the shortblock for $1800!!

GLWS!! Hell of a deal.
