EDIT: SOLD! - Spare Tire Subwoofer Enclosure
I had this listed in my Great Vishnu Stage 2 Wagon Partout thread, but had not figured out what I was doing for a sub in my STi. The sub enclosure would not fit in the STi due to the spare tire being bigger. I was, however, able to keep the 10" Image Dynamics sub and put it in a different enclosure.
That being said, I have the Spare Tire Subwoofer Enclosure without subwoofer available for sale. This enclosure is designed to fit into the WRX spare tire aloowing you to have great bass and keep your spare tire. It is totally stealth and requires no modifications in the wagon (I don't know about the sedan). I actually modified the tilt cover slightly (you can see it in the pics) to allow the air to move out easier. If you use quick disconnects on your wiring, this enclosure can be easily removed for AutoX or track days.
The enclosure is a custom fiberglass enclosure with carpeted top that will hold a 10" round sub. I had an Image Dynamics IDQ10.2 in there. The bass response was outstanding. I don't know the exact airspace, but I would guess it was .5-.75 ft3. This enclosure was made by Paradyme Car Audio in Sacramento, CA.
I've put this in the local section because I don't want to deal with shipping it. I live in Sacramento, but work often in the Bay Area (Sillycon Valley) and can meet the buyer locally.
This totally custom stealth enclosure is offered at $300 or best offer.

The amp was mounted under the driver's seat and the changer was mounted under the passenger seat: http://mikeegan.stormpages.com/WStereo.html

It is still available.
Right now I can guarantee a perfect fit on the wagons. I am going to test fit this into a sedan on Saturday and will report back. I know it will fit inside the spare perfectly, but I don't know yet how it will interact with the carpet/cover.
