EDIT: SOLD! - < :NEW: > Apexi Turbo Timer
This thing does everything. I bought this one and I got one for my birthday and I cannot return it to Z-1 Auto because I bought it in August.
Never installed, looks great. . .
Looking to get $65 for it. . .

I am in the Walnut Creek/ Pleasanton area
Call the installer of your Viper, I am not familliar with the model or anything like that but if you check with him and ask about adding a turbo timer to your setup.
Thanks

To my knowledge, (I just talked to my brother, the electronics guru) And all you do with the stock setup is cut 2 different wires to 1. kill the car if the ebrake is dropped 2. to lock with the key out and the engine running.
He says with a new Viper setup, that it should be able to lock with you still running and be able to lock it. The only thing that should be done is the E-brake modification
Check Scoobymods.com and see if you find anything there
