Interested, depending on the price and if it has the oil cutout. Maybe some pressed nuts or something to allow the cutout to be removed/put back.

Currently, with the 1/8" thickness and no oil cut-out we are estimating around $150. Holes are an extra 10$, Hardware an extra $10.
It would be theoretically possible to get some 3/16" plates made but the material costs are obviously going to be a little bit higher, and the plate is significantly heavier as well.
I will have to look into the oil cut-out, but I can drop mine (no cut-out) off with the 5 bolts in about 60 secs, so Im not sure what real advantage the cut-out would provide, and the cost would def increase with a CNC circle cut....
More info to follow.
Keep posting if you are interested and I will start tallying everyone up!

That's good pricing, but will that be group buy pricing or is that the standard price and it will get lower with more people. Will there be tiers that reduce the price? But the advantage for the oil cut out is so i don't have to drop it. Whats the grade of aluminum? 5052? What's the weight of the plate?

Thanks

I know from my skid plate on my 05 that you do not want an oil cut out! you would 2 holes anyways for the drain plug and oil filter. its honestly easier to take off than that plastic under tray cause you don't have stupid clips. I think it takes me 20 seconds to take off my skid plate with my air impact wrench.
You really want a solid piece of metal to protect those jewels!

The price would be $150 per person for the plate itself if we get 10 people.

And trust me people, 1/8th is plenty thick and heavy. You can't bend that if you try.

Removing ENTIRE the tray for the oil change is a pain, especially with the limited space using drive up ramps. If theres a cut out for the filter, i'm in for one.

let us know if you can have these anodized as well. =)

Mike and I both use drive up plastic ramps and find it very easy. It is easier than removing your oem plastic under tray. And he's been doing it for 7 years I believe.

If it sound like a pain for you I can't imagine you changing your oil on your own.
You don't want anything to knock your oil filter or pan out while driving because the time you'll realize it, it will be to late.

The product we are providing is a 1 solid piece of sturdy aluminum to protect your car. Anyone is welcome to get in contact with our metal fabricator or cut a whole in the plate themselves. We don't feel confutable selling them with wholes in them simply because it defeats the whole purpose. Rally armor didnt do it, primitive didn't do it, and its worked out pretty well so far.
