Since heads and gears are included, isnt that a "long" block ?

What's the condition of the paint on the hood scoop? Will the cf wrap come off without destroying the scoop?

Ray, the vinyl *should* come right off no problem. And if the paint is really bad I can repaint it for ya. I painted mine, matches perfectly.

yes, its a long block with heads. BUT it COULD be a wrx SHORTblock with STi heads. hence why its always a good idea to specify. Subaru hybrids are not un common at all. OP GLWS! if you still have long block in weeks time, PM a brotha!

I emailed someone about another hood but they haven't gotten back to me.

I really want an STI hood scoop and front splitters. Rayzwagon 3.0 is in full effect by next bam. Only bummer so far is missing out on Joe's interior.

I've never looked in to it. Do I need the splitter to install it or will my wrx one work?

Im not sure about the blobeyes. I know bugeyes the STi (JDM) scoop and splitter are very different from the USDM version WRX ones.

I'll have to google it. I think if it fits I'll buy it depending on the price I get on this entire hood I'm looking at.

I am running an STI scoop on my 04 with the WRX splitter no issues at all. Splitter just has to match model year and intercooler.
