As with all commerce (not regulated) the price is what someone is willing to pay for a product.
Do you feel you’re paying too much for gas?

I don’t expect to get 20k for the car. Duh! It is only what I feel it is worth. If you don’t want it … Don’t buy it.
On the other hand… You are all asking too little for your cars. Raise the price, and the market will have to respond.

However if you all have nothing better to do with your life than cap on my asking price & an occasional misspelled word. Party on!

Economy 101... Bwaa haha... Has your car sold yet?

The higher price does scare some people away. If it were a more realistic price, then you'd probably attract more people. When I see people post their cars for that much, I don't expect them to budge another 4-5k or anywhere near a reasonable range for that matter just by looking at the starting asking price. Hell, by the time the 07's come out, your car's already 5 years old. If you're that unwilling to sell it (based on the price you've just posted it at), then don't sell it yet. Wait a while, look at how much other people are selling their cars for online, then base your price off that. Haha. Good luck though.

supply/demand?!? LOL y0

there are ALOT of wrx's out there right now on the used market with similar condition/mileage as your car. a lot of supply and little demand means that the price for those goods have to be competitive in order for them to be sold. now, if everyone wanted a wrx with very little supply (like when the wrx first came out), thats when the markup *MAKES SENSE*!!!

now thats Economics 1a, not economy 101
