1986 Subaru Brat-$1500
1986 Subaru Brat 348,xxx miles. Yes 348,xxx miles. I had planned on it failing the smog check, then I was going to turn it over to the state for $1000 minus the shell, rear jumpseats and few other misc. parts. But it PASSED the smog check. It still gets a reliable 26mpg on the freeway. So it wasn't even eligible for the clunkers program. Not that I wanted a new car. The body and interior are in good shape except for the drivers seat bottom which is trashed. It cruises 65 on the freeway as long as it is flat with no hills involved. In the fourteen years and aprox 180,000 miles I have owned it, it has only let me down once. It is an old Subaru, check the fluids and go. It will get you there. Yes it still has the jumpseats for the back. I will sell the jumpseats seperate for $1500 and throw in the rest of the car for free. The car also comes equipped with a killer sounding stock am/fm radio. Someone needs to buy this and do something crazy like put a wrx motor in it, or turn it into a mini monster truck. Thanks, Brian

Also, would you be interested in partial trade? I have takata harnesses and other random stuff. LMK. I'll almost buy it for sure if you'll do partial trade as long as it doesn't blow during the test drive :P Also, do you have more pics and is there any rust?

I can post up some more pictures tomorrow when I get my camera back. It is pretty much rust free as it has been a Bay Area car from the beginning. It is not going to blow on the test drive. I'm not really looking for any trades as the STi is set up just how I want it. Unless you have any 235/40/17 RA1's or R888's laying around. I can always use more track tires. Supposedly I have someone coming up from Santa Barbera on Monday so let me know.

No crazy build for this Brat. The guy came all the way from Santa Maria to buy it. He plans to drive it stock the way it is. It would have been fun to do something crazy but who has the time for stuff like that. Sad to see it go but the STi is running good and hard so life is not to bad.
