1 VF39 power package (injectors, fuel pump, turbo) - $829 shipped!!!

Hey all,

We have one used VF39 for sale. The turbo is in good condition; it's got under 20K miles on it and has no cracks or problems. We'll combo it up with brand new STi 565cc pink injectors and a brand new Walbro fuel pump for only $829 shipped! You'll need these items anyways to put this turbo on a WRX. The VF39 is the turbo that comes on the USDM STi stock and is very similar to the VF34 but is slightly smaller. Figure on seeing about 10WHP less at the topend than the VF34. This is an excellent package for a WRX guy who wants a VF34 package but who wants to save over $400. This is a 360 crank HP capable turbo package on a WRX with proper supporting mods.

-Used 20K VF39 in good shape
-STi 565cc injectors
-Walbro 255L FP and setup kit

$829 shipped!!!

*Turbo shown is not actual turbo.

Thanks,

Geoff

Looking through previous posts, I see number from 243 to and up. So maybe you are right, more like 230 whp.

Hey, so what's the diff spool wise between the 35, 34, and 39? Since it seems they all make around the 240-250 range, just wondering what characteristics are different.

Preson car put down 275 on our dyno and he had headers, TMIC, TBE, and VF34 package. I'd expect about 15-20 WHP less so McGowers estimates all seem in line.

The 35 is a pretty small turbo comparatively so it spools up a bit quicker and runs out of steam up top. The 34 and 39 are very similar but the 34 spools slightly later and has a bit more breath up top. As stated before, the 34 is capable of 275 on our dyno. I'm guessing 255-260 for the 39 and 230 for the 35.

Thanks,

Geoff

Hi geoff,

would the headers help out hp? Reason i ask is because most people tell me headers are just for torque. Thanks.

bizump.

No, these are rollerbearing turbos.

The header would add a bit of HP in the upper range but it will mostly add torque. In my mind torque is more important than HP anyways. I'd rather have a car with 250WHP and 400WTQ than vice versa. What's really important is the area under your torque curve since that's your usable power. Almost any header will lose you a bit of midrange power for some upper range gains.

Thanks,

Geoff

PS. This package is sold. Thanks!!!
