It looks like the GC shifter will fit in the forester by just comparing the pictures but the length of the shifter might be too short for you when driving. The height adjustment on the subydude shifter is for the actual shift point, by changing this you change the amount of throw. By looking at the pictures i'm assuming your shift **** would sit about 3 inches lower than stock.

Bushings are not included and are not necessary. With this shifter installed shifts are very precise and solid.

As of right now we are in the process of coming out with the STi shifters and forester. I have no ETA for the forester shifters at this time.
