02 WRX w/ JDM STi goodies FS $14k obo...
!!!!!!SOLD!!!!!!Price Reduced: $13,000 obo
Apologies in advance for the over descriptive paragraph you are about to read:
I am selling my beloved 2002 WRX, more like a feeler. The car has 98,xxx on the shell and approximately 60k miles on shortblock and transmission. I bought the car 2 years ago from a gentleman on Craiglist. The car was I think originally from Hawaii and with my acquisition of the car it now has a California title. There are no liens, loans etc, I own this car outright w/ pinkslip in hand. I also have the original sticker. The car remained stock for most of it's life and the upgrades have been made in the last 20k miles or so. I have owned and built 3 Imprezas with this being my second WRX. I have been heavily involved in the Subaru community for 6 years now and know a lot of fellow Subaru enthusiasts and they will tell you this car is legit. The car dynoed 302 whp (375-400 crank hp) and 287(325-350 crank tq) wtq at FLI's dyno in Santa Rosa. The car was always professionally tuned by Miles at FLI, a Subaru specific performance shop. Due to many early WRX's being poorly maintained and beat up by their owners this car particularly stands out. It's seriously one of the cleanest early WRX's out there and any tuner or fellow WRX owners will tell you the same, it's always been a local favorite. The car is cosmetically a 9 out of 10 and mechanically maintained as religiously as possible. Everything works: power windows, locks, A/C, heater etc. I personally have never driven this car in the rain or bad weather, let alone even to sit outside in it, it's been garaged it's entire life. Professionally detailed 1 month and it really shows. It's been purely a project/weekend car since it's kind of my hobby and what not. It has never seen any track days or the drag strip, only spirited backroad sprints. I'm reluctant to sell the car but I want to pursue other endeavors so it really is my loss and your gain, I'm sure of it. Fell free to to call me at 707-347-6288 if you have any questions. Asking price is $13,000 obo, price is negotiable. Not a bad deal though considering the car has $15,000 alone invested into it. If anyone has a late 60's to early 80's 911 I'm willing to trade + cash Car will have to be smogged by buyer... I have the stock downpipe but a custom tune for smog will have to be made. I will be happy to assist. Open to get car inspected if needed.
