Why spend over twice the money for suspension that's going to be used and abused on a daily driver? Get to work a couple seconds faster?
No need for coilovers like ast's if you are just commuting...a car that mostly sees track time and minor street use is what these are for
Glws OP...I'm sure these will find the right home

I don't know the exact figure, but last I heard it's on the order of $100-150/corner, and goes up from there depending on if you want any custom work or revalving done.
For what it's worth, I haven't noticed any drop in performance or ride quality since I installed them, so I don't believe they need a rebuild anytime soon. Friends in the BMW world have put 40k miles (incl heavy track/autox) on sets without needing rebuilds.

Seeing the perfect coilovers for me on iCLUB - $2300
Rebuilding each corner when it's time - $150
Realizing that I'm never gonna be able to stomach the price of "real" suspension - priceless
And by priceless I mean frustrating and disappointing.
I want these so bad but I don't neeeeeed them at all. Somebody buy these. Threads like this never happen! Seems like people are waiting for the Megan or bc coilovers threads for like 400-700.

super jelly
These coilovers made a '95 legacy handle on/off-ramps quicker than my stock Evo's bilsteins
These are truly an amazing coilover combination, the shock curve engineered into these dampers are really what make this whole combination work as a system for both street and track.
It's travesty to equate cheap coilovers to being on even dollar/performance level as these, or even as being all of the track abilities of these ASTs but skimping on the versatility.
These genuinely rode better than the dual-duty Ohlin flag Evo X, track valved JIC & KWv3s, and cheap D2 racing Evos I've ridden in on both the street and Thunderhill.

How ignorance? I dd 25k miles a year, why spend that much money when the main reason I bought coilovers was the height adjustment (I run 3 different wheel sizes - stock 16s, 17x8 and 18x8)
Why spend 2k+ for something thatll need rebuilding almost every year and won't be used to its full capability?? I can get more milage out of BC type coilovers..hell I got 50k+ on my current ones...
Once my wrx becomes the weekend car, trust me it'll be sitting on something like these ASTs, but for now id rather drop a 1/3 of the price on BCs...they really aren't that bad...but I came from 14/12k springs on hondas so anything feels smoother haha
