$22K+ in mods, clean, well sorted 04 STi w/ 30K miles - asking $34K

Hey all,

It saddens and pains me to have to do this but I'm selling my moderately modded 04 STi. With $22,000+ in modifications (not including labor, painting, or tuning), I planned on keeping it forever but a recent move has forced my decision.

Some of you might know me as Geoff who works at Gruppe-S. I would like to think that this car is nearly complete and nearly flawlessly modded. You might not agree with my choice of manufacturer, my personal taste, or the depth of my mods, but the mods on the car have taken into account all the wisdom I have aquired while I have worked at Gruppe-S. There are very few things I'd add or change about the car; maybe a few minor dressup items, a Koyo rad, some Defi gauges, and some different wheels (which I have but have not put on the car). Each part was chosen for a reason and was settled on after most likely testing at least 2 other versions of the same part that I found to be inferior. For that reason, most of the parts on the car are pretty new.

This car was modded to be a daily driver that could double as a capable weekend track car. As such, it's not for everyone; it's loud and doesn't have the most comfortable ride but it's fast on the street or the road course and very RELIABLE. At last dyno, the car made 315 WHP / 325 WTQ on 91 pump on our Mustang 4WD "heart breaker" dyno. A stock 04 STi makes about 215-220 WHP so this is equivalent to about 420 / 435 at the crank. I strived to make the most power possible without compromising the longevity and reliability of the stock block. Knowing that the stock block would also outlast a built block, the stock block was retained and a bolt-on turbo was utitlized. The same approach was taken with the suspension; the parts we selected to be street friendly but also track capable.

The car has been well loved and cared for but it is used. As such, it does have some minor scratches but has no dents or major mechanical or structural issues. It has just under 30,000 miles on it currently. All services have been done with synthetic fluid every 3-5K miles. All parts have been installed professionally by Gruppe-S. All tuning has been done by Mike Warfield of Gruppe-S. All painting has been done by a high-end European body shop. The car is well sorted and ready to drive. Unlike when you mod your own car, you will not have to go though the hassle of taking it back to the shop to be fixed or trouble shooting your modifications. Again, this is a well sorted and trouble free car with modifications that work harmoniously.

Thanks for reading. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions about the car. If you are SERIOUSLY interested in my car, please PM me. I AM NOT LOOKING TO PART THE CAR OUT. I am looking for a loving owner for this complete car.

You should reinstall the oem engine performance parts back to stock. This way more buyer will be interested and passes emission (smog check). Buyers are scare to buy a car will aftermarket high performance parts that may break down (not saying yours will). Just my 2 cents. Bump for a crazy fast STi.

The only drawback to Audis is the incredible weight. Awesome cars tho - and the S4 makes nice engine sounds.

Awesome STi - looks sweet.
