subie fever!
I've had my '05 WRX for just about 4 weeks now and I'm in love. my poor old Integra was fun but just can't hold a candle to this thing.
I've already joined NASIOC and ScoobyMods and will probably end up on ClubWRX as well.
car came with a K&N drop-in and a factory boost gauge, but otherwise bone stock (not counting the aftermarket deck). after doing some snooping around, I think my first purchases will be Paranoid Fabrications fender braces (lime green!) and I saw a really good deal on the BPM crossover pipe (less than $100) and am told that even on an otherwise stock car, it's an improvement. thoughts/suggestions?
first thing I did was remove the SUBARU badging, then I couldn't stand the rest and debadged the whole trunk.
I actually photoshopped the car in this pic, but that's what she really looks like now!

to i-club! enjoy your stay!
exhaust is one of the most common first mods, more power, and unleash that subie sound!
suspension would also be a good call to get her a little lower to the ground and handling better.
congrats on the new car!

thanks! I'm leaning towards the Prodrive springs at the moment. as for exhaust, I will probably go to my exhaust guy to rig something up, or find a nice 2.5" cat-back.
gotta make some payments first, though!

nice car
i would go catback to get a little more power... and that suby sound like said above, then
a downpipe with engine management or soon to follow so you dont throw cels and feel like your map has holes in it...
then suspension!!!

agreed! I have an appt tomorrow to have a set of FK-452s put on. then I'm joining a drive up to Tahoe this weekend with a bunch of really nice cars (some exotics, too) but we will be staying away from fire.
I'm sure after the drive I'm going to want to sell my brother for suspension. I had a decent setup on my integra and all this body roll is killing me!
