Oh my my my, if you have **** here you pretty much *are* on a dating site... don't you know you're just fueling the fire by answering their questions? lol ! I'm sure you know what you're doing tho
Anyway, welcome to the site It's nice to see more girls on here!
As far as STi/Evo... I used to drive an STi and then I test drove the Evo IX (rs model) and I must say I was very impressed! Right from the get go I could tell it was a different beast all in it's own. I was SUPER impressed w/ the handling and from stock I could tell it could whip my little STi's *** :-x
You have to consider all the differences and see what works for you... I know a bit more about subies, but I know I could mod the Evo out a lot more while spending less $, even though I'd have to learn the Evo "traits" all over again. So it's just about weighing your options.
Which engine type do you like better? What kind of mods do you plan on doing? What kind of boys do you like better, Mitsubishi boys or Subaru boys... seems that might be a good thing to keep in mind too
hahahaha
oh... and mandatory ttiwwop!

yeah i dont mean to be "fueling their fire" just simply answeing most questions that were asked, i dont mind as long as their not tooo personal, im not a put it all out there kind of person, but as far as evo boys vs. sti boys, i dunno many guys aoround here with them to be the judge of that, but the few i do know are pretty good lookin , and most the evo guys i know areeither too young, or married with kids..not many in between. But back to business, i do agree with you that the ix's are a beast allthere own, are they really cheaper than modding out a sti thou? i havent done much research for the sti mods yet, but i know a good amount about the evo pricing and vendors, its just a pricey car to maintain in general but id rather do it right then get all the low end parts anyways, plus i dont know if id start with interior mods or exterior...thats a hard one too. But i think i need to take a few more test drives in the sti to fully commit to it being the one, but im pretty sure it will be.
When I was testing out the Evo, I was testing the RS model (slightly cheaper), because the MR model was too heavy of a fat pig with extra stuff I didn't need. The RS is stripped down to the bare minimum and it's great for tuners, kinda like the WRX TR model.
Personally, I could care less about interior looks, although, I will say that the STi developed some really annoying squeaks (from parts kinda shaking loose I guess) and other interior "noise". There was some tranny-noise as well, which only got worse after the short-shifter install.
The Evo i test drove had some gnarly road noise as well, but you could also hear the turbo spool up/bov sounds much better, and that always brings a smile to my face
They both cost about the same to "maintain" although if you want to save some $ (while also getting to know your car better) you can do your own oil changes... With a set of rhino-ramps it's not too hard to do yourself
When you talk about interior/exterior mods, do you mean you're going to keep it completely stock and not do any performance mods? Just aesthetics?
Oh, ps, ttiwwop is still being enforced. Kthxbai
