Good places to get tints at in CT?

Anyone have any reccomendations on places in ct to get a good tint job? I've been to tintmaster in hartford in the past and had an average experience with them I'd say. How's Mr. Tint in manchester, anyone been there?

Dunno, but went to silver lining and got llumar platinum tint and they did an excellent job. I'd highly recommend the place to anyone looking for tints. It's in Danbury, right off 84.

It was $250, which is a bit pricey, but I upgraded to the platinum tint which was like 30-40 more I think. I know you can get cheaper tint elsewhere, but Llumar film is great and they did an awesome job. On my old Legend I brought it to tintmaster in hartford and they were alright, but the tint started peeling about a week later which they replaced free of charge. I was more impressed with silver lining though.

The Mort - I think I recommended Silver Lining to ya on another forum, right? Glad you went there...I know there are cheaper places but the Llumar Platinum is the way to go, and I'm sure they did a super smooth job. Where in CT are ya anyways?? Oh, and the place is B-port is probably Tint King - stay the hell away from what I've heard. Drive to Danbury and spend a few extra bucks - well worth it.

Yeah, I think that was you, Stu right? I'm from farmington, so it was about 45 mins to an hour away, but that's fine with me as I was very pleased. They asked how I heard about them and I told them you recommended them and they did remember you. Thanks again for telling me about them, they did an awesome job. I'm gonna try and get some pics up this weekend.

Yup, that's me! Sweet. I'm really, really glad it worked out for you! We should try and schedule a meet sometime - it'd be cool to hang with some other Subie freaks and check out everyone's ride. Keep checking the Northeast forum - think there may be something coming up the weekend of 11/15 or 16. Nice guys over there.....and it doesn't surprise me that they remembered me, as I sat there while they did my STi.....I'm way too overprotective!

YEa GFUNK720 was talking about my car. I got it done at sunlimited i think it was called. The guy who did it drives a pretty nice honda SI. Anyways, when i first picked up the car there were a few blemishes that he said would go away in time. As he had said they did go away and now it looks mint. The place is pretty ghetto, so i think they will put on any tint you want. Its was real easy to get to as i remember, right off on 95. All in all i give it two thumbs up for chill peeps that do a good job and wont take advantage of a joy ride in a wrx. mis dos pesos
