Hey folks, I'm gonna be movin back to Michigan from Hawaii in a couple months and wanna see what the suby scene is like back in the midwest. these threads seem pretty dead so lets kickstart it back into action! If you are in the area shout out and lets get to know each other.

sorry we are all too cold to speak up!
LOL
Subarus are strong around metro Detroit.
I live in Macomb (20is miles north of Detroit) and I see at least 3 bug eyes per day and there is still a couple of GC's running around.
Most have little to no modifications.

what you are going to run into around here are a lot of Ricers f-ing with you to see how there car stacks up and allot of pickups screwing with you to try to prove something. There is still allot of bad blood over imports around here.

haha, yea i remember seeing stock 80s hondas with walmart hubcap upgrades racing cavaliers with 3 dollar neon underglow all the time. it was funny cause they would race from the stoplight and the traffic behind them was almost keeping up at their regular pace. there's alot of crappo hondas and mustangs out here that do the same thing.
