Yeah there are quite a few, what area exactly are ya? There is one on the corner of Staples Mill Rd. and Glenside Dr.

I live on Southside, but I work in the West End.
Are you really talking about the touchless carwashes? I mean no brushes, no nothing that touches my car. And not that Carpool stuff where they let high school dropouts dry your car with terry towels. Ideally, I'm looking for one of those laser washes, where the thing measures your car with lasers and never touches it. They usually scrub your rims and have an air dryer at the end. There was this great one called Squeaky's where I used to live - $7 and the car's spotless.

Yup it's touchless. Not sure about it actually having a laser measurement though. Both of them I use have the air dryer at the end, but they more of blast the rims rather than scrub them. I don't use any car washes that actually touch my car, although no one could look and tell.
If your on southside there is one on Route 10(Ironbridge Road) Near the Advance Auto. I can get ya the address if you want I drive past it every day.
Funny I drive from the west end to southside to work.

Thanks a lot. And my WRX thanks you too. I'm not really close to my family so my car is kinda like my child - nobody gets to touch it.
I wanted to live in the West End. But I downgraded to Southside so that I could afford to buy the car. Oh well. It's not too bad. But the absolute first thing I did was get an alarm installed. I still check out the window when I hear noise in the parking lot, though...

Hey guys, Its cool to see that other richmond'ers that post on the board. I dont have a WRX yet, hopefully this weekend! But I was just wondering if you guys are in a club or if you all meet any? I hate the car clubs I see around here, ALTEZEAS!! vomet! N E ways where do you guys work?? I live on the west end and I work at Carmax

I don't belong to any clubs yet - I'm pretty new to Richmond and I got my WRX on January 4. I think one of my favorite things about Richmond so far is the kids who pull up along side my WRX with hondas that have 5 inch tips, then try to beat me off the line. Yeah right, buddy.

LOL.. about those stupid Ricers, I know how you feel b/c I do have a honda now 99 civic si (the torqueless monster). But im going to maybe trade it in if they give me a good deal.
What options did you get with your WRX?? Have you done any mods yet? Did you pass your break in point yet?

There are about 10 or so of us that meet up. We mainly use the other board since everyone seems to use it. nasioc(dot)com incase ya didnt know. Thats our club of sorts. Most of the local car clubs are just good for laughs.
I work for Chesterfield County actually. If you see a Black(and dirty) 01 RS with "NO SLIPN" on the tags that'd be me. If you honk or wave or anything and I give you a funny look no offense meant, just out of habit.

There's a good one in Innsbrook on (I think) Nuckols Rd. at the Texaco. Usually really busy though. I also got to the Amoco with the Dairy Queen on it on Rte. 10 if I happen to be in Chesterfield at my parent's place. That's the same one Buster mentioned. Hope to see you guys around sometime. Silver RS with "IMPREZA" plates.

Hey guys, i'm back, It's John again. (Probably remember me as "the guy who had the type-r, then the wrx, then the hatch, then the type-r), well, i've got another WRX again, she's a keeper this time. Picked up an 03, Platinum Silver for 1000 under invoice, with 2.9% for 60 months!
