Absolutely, I have missed the last 4 years but made the 10 before that and I will be going this summer even if I have to quit my job. Even though it is quite a ways off I still love the event, and no I don't think of the water crossing as the first thing on my mind. I like the evening stages the most, even if they go into the weee hours of the morning. Hairpins are also my favorite including Dead Mans Curve. The Course near Colton Point always has my blood flowing as they blow down that road at over 110 mph in the dark!

i went last year for the first time, i didnt get to see the splash stage because they closed it from all of the rain. i am definatly going this year, i just hope it doesnt rain so much this time around. maybe we can get a group together this year. ive heard that there is a rally for charity that is open to the public, any word on how to enter??

Here is the link, the best way to find out about the Race schedule is to keep checking back frequently.

Now is the best time to book a motel as they are usually all filled up for 50 mile radius over the race weekend! Wellsboro has it's own web site for the town and they can lead you to the best places but call now or you will not get a room period.
