the power of good, and body shops???
Subaru onwers of the Mid Atlantic, we need to unite and combine all our powers for good. How do we merge all this power you ask, well it is simple. If you have body work, parts installed (hard stuff, ie: springs, tranny, wings) and simple stuff spread the work if the place does good work. It is hard as hell to find shops around here that do work that I can't do myself or are to lazy to do. So if you know a body shop, paint shop, parts store, or installation shop in DC, MD, VA, hell even PA, WVA, drop it in this forum so we can take the foot and finger work off of each other. I know most the of the shops are in VA anyway. I always see WRX's in VA and I feel we should bond and use our powers for good against the evil EVO 8.
But seriously I do like the car but lets help each other out.

I know it's a bit of a haul from MD and Northern VA (which I've come to find out is a whole separate state from the rest of VA...) but here in Roanoke, Wooding's Paint & Body is the best there is. Period.
They have had over 30 cars in magazines, and one of their cars recently won best of show at a Super Chevy show. They mostly do older muscle cars and trucks, but they'll paint anything. They are working on a Civic there that looks great. I didn't think I'd ever use the words "civic" and "great" inthe same sentence, but the one they're doing looks really nice.
Of course, they are expensive, but you get what you pay for.

They are now my new tuning shop. What makes them different is that they just don't install, they TUNE the car for optimal performance. Pat, the owner, has a long history of tuning forced induction cars. Talk to him and you will quickly surmise that he is probably one of the most knowledgeable techs out there. He works on both the BMW and the Subaru. His labor rates are very reasonable. However, he's not into catering to the riceboy crowd who try to nickel and dime him on everything.
Check them out!
