Oh, man, so I raced PCRS tonight. I have never been so muddy in my entire life . I got so much mud in my eyes that I am having a hard time keeping them open, I'm still digging dried dirt out of my nose and there's still dirt in my teeth .

I think I took first in my class tonight too. I'll wait for official results :wiggle:

Sunday is good for me.

We can try and go longer like 25, but I may bow out depending on how I feel. Have a bit of a cold/cough. Hopefully it doesn't get worse...

Maybe if I just ride at my own slow-*** pace I can get thru it. Just hope I'm not too tired to enjoy the DH at the end. If I make it that far I'm hitting Fuel Break to Culvert!!!

I would be up for doing this. It would be nice to have people along that know the trails. I had trouble finding some the trails when I went last week.

Neighborhood garage sale that day so I'm out for Saturday next week.

Who's riding, when/where, this weekend?

I'm going Sunday morning.

edit: After looking a bit at my bike, and thinking about its condition, I called Mikes Bike's today and talked to one of the mechanics there who raced on Wednesday. He was saying when he pulled his BB, a bunch of muck came out, his brake pads were thrashed, etc, etc. I can't get in to work with them (they're going to get my bike on the stand and show me how to take all the stuff apart and check/clean it, which will rock) until Sunday evening, so I'm off the mountain this weekend. I don't want to thrash my new bike.

Guess I'll be road weenie ridin this weekend

Well I'm getting ready to bed (got to get up 3am to get to Monterey by 6am) Doing the SeaOtter MTB Tour. Weather is going to suck....if it's raining cats and dogs I may only do the 10 mile ride, but hoping to do the full 20mi loop. Planning to meet the other Old Randy (Ravent) there after the ride.

I'll try and take plenty of photos of the ride and the other events. If anyone's interested I will have 2 tickets for sunday available.

Cheers

Ed

have fun at the seaotter!
my buddy is racing the road race also.
he's been training for it for a while.
making the trip up from San Diego just for the event.
i was supposed to go down and cheer him on and check out the MTB stuff, but rain isn't gonna be much fun.
plus i have to help the inlaws move this weekend.

looks like cycling will be out this entire weekend.
