The smoke is starting to infiltrate Tahoe! NOOOO!!!!!
Super fun ride at HITG guys. Good times. Went to Northstar today and had many close-call OTB experiences. That place is super technical and dusty. My arms are sore and my suspension got a good workout. But I'm still in one piece...
We should start planning a Downieville trip. Doesn't have to be soon, but I would like to get it on the calendar.

I dropped my bike off after our ride Tuesday because one of the forks was leaking. They said they would have it ready around Thursday and that they would call me. No call.

I spent most of the day on the main lift. I tried some of the double blacks (Karpiel and Sticks and Stones), but they were pretty technical, especially for "only" having 6 and 6. By the time I got over to the other side, I decided that I would limit myself to the single black runs. So, I didn't ride Boondocks. Livewire was closed for maintenance, leaving Gypsy as the only run on the other lift.
As far as favorite runs, I think Gypsy had the best flow. With so much dust and loose terrain, it was hard to really rail through the singletrack. And I didn't do the rock drops (BTW, the second rock drop on Gypsy is huge).
There was another run from the top that had a really long and pretty wide ladder section over rocks in the middle of the trail. So cool. Also, the Flameout trail has an area with a bunch of skinnies to mess around on. I tried to ride everything, except for sections that I had to walk for fear of dying...
I may rent a longer travel bike if I go back this summer. Or maybe it's time to pick up a Transition Blindside

"POOR AIR QUALITY WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE WEEKEND"
That's what Weather.com says. Insert lots of very bad words here.
What is it like up around Tahoe? Anybody know?

Put on lots of weight. That way maybe I'll be able to keep up with you again.
I did get my bike back. Now if only I could find somewhere to ride and not get lung damage.
