Funny you should mention that..

I think I do. Especially since the following week I have to lead a group on that ride, I might as well pedal it out this week

Any of you dudes interested in going to Mammoth this year? I have a friend with a Grand Sierra lodge in the mammoth village and he just offered it up to me and some friends if we're interested in going during the summer. I know Lance goes down there a lot but I'm not sure where exactly, so dunno if this would work for that trip or not.

Might be fun

I'm going the 1st week in Aug if you want to go. My dad is going down for some road riding with davis bike club and said I could come along and crash with him. but of course I'll be mountain biking. There are a ton of cool trails down in Mammoth for sure. You guys will love Mammoth Loop and then there are way more trails that I haven't even gone on...last time my friend Don wasn't feeling well so we just did Uptown (from the village to about half way up to the resort) and then took some other trail off of that back to the condo. My past fav has always been Lower Rock Creek, but last time there was a bit more pumas on the trail which made it a bit less flowing and a bit more like the sand @ GB; Still a great trail though.

Anyway, let me know if you guys want to come along during that time period or we can plan a separate trip and I'd probably be down for that as well.

Every time we go we stay at Chamonix Condominiums. They are big, have full kitchens, and then has a rec center with pool and hot tub.

Let me know if you guys want or need more info.

Where is Chamonix in relation to Grand Sierra? My friend was saying his cabin is 2 bed, I think 2 bath, sleeps 6. On the website the cabin area looked just like the Northstar Village (built by the same people). I'd be down to go in July or something since Mike is camping in August. I will also be camping at some points this summer (gotta make up for all the trips I missed last year ).
