What, are you afraid of getting a little mud on your bike?

As you know, "showers" down there can be a down pour up here. As best I can tell, it won't be that bad. I would be surprised if there is enough rain to effect our riding to much. I expect it to be chilly though.

I will post in the morning and let you guys know.

3/8 of an inch. It's not raining now, and it looks like it will not be raining at ride time. The temperature is 46 here.

It just started raining again, but it's light the weather radar shows nothing else behind it.

I don't think it will be to muddy. It will be wet though. And cold. I'm glad I just bought some new full finger gloves.

I have to wait and hear from my flying buddy. We were suppose to go flying tomorrow. If we don't then FDLT for sure.

It will probably be this evening before I know.

Sweet ride today!!! Had a lot of fun - the trails were nice and tacky.

What's the story for next week?

I had a great time too. Thanks for the ride Matt. The traction was great. You could really bomb through a turn without worrying about the tires letting to.

It would be nice if the rest of you could join us next Saturday and do the FHLT and Connector. I got reminded again yesterday how the stretch of the Connector right after the turn off from the loop in one of the most fun trails I've ever ridden. The tacky conditions also let me go through the fast sweeper in the long fast down hill the fastest I've ever done it.

Sorry, can't ride Saturday due to Opening Day for Little League.

I am available on Sunday though.

I could probably ride both days next weekend. What time would you want to ride on Sunday morning, Mike? I know that the IMBA Trail Builder class is going on Friday/Saturday, and that on Sunday they will be riding the divide from upper lot starting @ 10am (http://www.fatrac.org/index.php?q=node/363).

I guess there isn't any trail work scheduled for this weekend as I had originally thought, just the builder class, and I'm not sure I'm gonna go. The last thing I have time or desire for, is to spend eight hours in a class on a Saturday .

In other news, Prairie City starts up this week. Gonna try to see if Josey might be interested in riding out there. She always says she wants to ride with me, but her schedule makes it very difficult and I can't take every Wednesday off in order to do an afternoon GB ride. I'd love it if she'd race. Either way, I'm gonna try to race this week.
