That was weird about Rich's bike. In all the years I've been riding, I have never seen that happen before. Is it possible that those rims are a bit to narrow?
I'll see you guys next week.

Yeah, buddy. Did 30 miles on the road this morning. I went on the normal Mike's Bikes ride, but decided instead of driving to Mike's and heading out with them from there, that I'd just ride the 7 miles down there, do the ride with them and ride back. We didn't ride as far this time as we did a couple weeks ago (there were more, newer riders this time), so I'm extra glad I rode down there. Ended up being just under 30 miles. I was starting to run out of gas by the time I got home, but feel good still .

I decided Matt couldn't be the only one to ride, so I did the Forest Hill Loop this afternoon. I pushed pretty hard from about the 1/2 way point on. I still got passed a couple of times.
It was much drier than I expected. I got all ready to jump the big puddle on the screaming downhill, but it looks like FATRAC built drainage for it and there wasn't any puddle. The climb up to the road that is so bad when it's muddy was also in good shape. It was even warmer than yesterday.
