Thanks guys. Mike and Lance, I'm glad you had a good time. Maybe next weekend we will have the opportunity to ride together again.

I am beginning to think riding with FATRAC for us is jinxed. First Matt and then me the next weekend. I recover and get in a bunch of rides without so much as a bobble. So I go ride with FATRAC and WHAM, out again.

In all fairness it was totally my fault. The FATRAC guys and (cute) girl were really caring and kind. Part of the thing that's so madding is that they are fun to ride with and I keep having stupid crashes in front of them. It's very embarrassing and frustrating.

More stuff.....

I forgot to mention that at the beginning of the ride one of them asked "Don't you ride with Matt?" I said "I was." Matt, he had seen your pictures on MTBR. You have his condolences also. Now if only I remembered his name.

My wife and I are heading Tahoe Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Anytime after that, I'm ready to ride. Weekday or weekend.

I just shaved 0.06lbs off my Nomad with a new seat!!!!! Man it feels light now!!!

Ended up with the 07' WTB Silverado SLT (Black) @ 210g

It's the one on the far right.

Either day should be fine as long as it is early.

I might can ride Saturday if it's not a super bumpy ride. I don't think I can go real long yet either. I'm not fully healed yet.

So if you don't mind someone riding like a wimp with you, I'm ok for Saturday. What did you guys have in mind?

You know the trails, what do you think works best for your current state?

As usual, I'll ride just about anything.

I was going to ride GB after work today, but I just could not get motivated. Hopefully this weekend will get me back into the swing of things.

Either one will work, but if it's Sunday, I'll have to do it a bit later in the morning since we're going out Saturday night.

I think it needs to be something without rocky climbs and decents. That excludes most of Auburn/Foresthill. Olmstead would probably be ok since it's been smoothed out, but a dust bowl. Granite Bay would probably be ok too.

I can only ride Saturday this week.

Matt, update your web page with the latest leg pictures...

Last time I showed my gf she almost passed out. It was quite humorous.
