I already said what i had to say on the other thread, and it was more like a reply but if you insist here is a recap.

You're cool. However, as soon as people started trying to get "all-import" meets going, the **** we're complaining about started happening. The word got out because you *didn't* respect the group and the history in the first place.
You realize the norcal street, norcalimports street racing BS is *exactly* what we're complaining about, right?
Look, it's not personal, but you have to understand that this has never been an "import meet" or a "show", it's friends who met through this site hanging out. Some don't own Subarus anymore. Some have 3 of them. Some don't make it out every week. But if you don't understand that we laugh at the ricer ****, and don't want all that crap as a part of the meet we created as a safe haven, then ther'es no way I'm going to be able to explain it.

Cuz i did not want to come alone. The yellow ITR (who was roomates with one of the members ) and the RED Accord, and they have not been back since, because they felt hated on. 4: I only promote racing on the Track ; )
Like that one legacy i like cars in general and i love the local scene cuz thats were i am. And why i sarted norcalstreet to shocase local cars. But like i said thats a sweet spot and i did not host any meet thier out of respect for the forum which i am apart of. : D

None of the longtime SRiCers cares what kind of car anybody who comes to the meet drives, or how they ended up cominguot there in the first place. What we do care about is that the Natomas meet used to be a collection of people who were all genuinely friends- totally beyond the car club aspect of things. So when people show up to a meet, make an ambivalent impression on everybody, then suddenly whole groups of new (and younger, less mature) people start showing up to hang out, we're not happy.
The stance by you newbies that it should be a Subaru-only thing is totally backwards. It's never been an elitist group. Anybody that's cool enough with hanging out with guys who, for the most part, are in their late 20s and early 30s and don't act like 19 year olds with their first car, is welcome.
Basically, the issue that the OG SRiC folks have is that people are showing up and trying to change the dynamic of the meets- and succeeding. Most of us have been at the meets a lot less often because frankly, they arn't as fun. The "old school" meet that got put together a couple months ago was basically a farewell party. The old meets are gone, so those of you who still attend regularly have the responsibility of keeping them alive. Now, you have to decide what that means. We can't.
