If that is true, its a good thing I had work... and didn't show up, that would have been a waste of gas.....

i've been to a couple no shows over the past year and change. some weeks people just can't make it. other times it's just too fkn hot to want to hang outside.

So are these meets pretty much dead? I came out there once or twice way back when Scott and Nate were around, but that was when I was in the DSM scene. Now that I have a project GC8, I'd like to come out again and check everyone else's rides out. Maybe it's just been too scorching outside...

The Sat meets are only dead if people say they are dead, as time goes on suby owners come and go. Some I-clubers don't live in the area any longer; others just got things to do. I just changed jobs and can go the Sat meets once more. I’ll show up. If the SRICers that I already know can't make it and a new posse bands up at the same local, I’m cool with that. I’m here to see cars and meet new people. As far as I know this club has never been "official", (like the Mustang Club of America) there for there is no hierarchy of leadership that dictates/ coordinates when gatherings happen. Just post up that you want to go some where and ask who's willing to join you. .
