All I have to say is that an open 3" downpipe is loud. Rediculously loud. And I'm going to have to drive down to S-Squared like that, since the rest of my echaust wouldn't fit with the Helix DP on. RRRrrrrrrrrrr!

Knowing what to search for is the issue. And there is no way in hell I'm putting the stock DP off, after it took me 3+ hours to get it off. 200k+ miles of rust means an excessive amount of penetrating lube.

I would have just yanked the axle back to give me the clearance I needed until I could get to S-Squared, but those bolts were worse than the ones on the DP. I highly doubt I'd be able to get those out without a grinder. I tried all my options and failed, but there's not really a good solution for the legacys, without going custom, which is what I'm doing. So there.

Dont worry about it, I have the insurance money already.

Now I just have to find a replacement... I got back $4500, but I could do 6500 with a loan... I'd prefere something 3000 or under so I have mod money.

Steve- Sep 12 there's another Auto Auction up in Orland where I bought my Legacy, if you're interested. There was one today, but it's over with by now.
