The CHP Academy in West Sac is opening their doors tomorrow for Wednesday 11-August only, in celebration of the 75th Anniversary of service to CA. They will have classic CHP cruisers and motorcycles on display, as well as a short demonstration of vehicle pursuit techniques. I don't know if this demonstration will take place on their closed course or some other open area, though.

I'm going to check that out with my brother, niece, and nephew tomorrow morning.

Activities will be held at the CHP Academy from 10:00am to 2:00pm (might be 2:30, not sure). I saw this on Channel 13 news at noon Tuesday.
