how does a resonator box stop dirt/dust ?
snorkels are a must have when under water.

Dust gets in the fender liner. If you remove the resonator and the front snorkel, you're pulling air out of a big, non-turbulent space that fills with dust. That's how.

exactly. notice how it would pull water from the fender that is in the water, but if the silencer and that other ram air thingy were installed, it would come from near the grill which is not yet under water.

regardless, car is still fux0red, and subie gal still sucks.

hey, i might actually come out to the meet saturday night. who's gonna be there that's not camping?

I've only missed 3-4 meets... I think I'm technically still a regular for a couple more weeks.

see, this is why i need to go to a meet. i had no idea until today that you guys were reno peoples now.

on another note, i got an e-mail from a used car fleet manager that I used to work with asking if i'd trade my car in for 17k. hmm... that would buy me a scion tC. i could drive a scion with no car payment or my WRX with no car payment. i politely declined the offer.

Yeah, but don't you technically come out ahead since your car is barely worth that much anymore?

Subiegal could have avoided that puddle if she hadn't used Noltec steering rack bushings.
