There's 6 (iirc) screws that hold on the splitter (2 are under the hood's headshield mat, you'll need to pop the big plastic buttons that hold part of it down), pull those screws and the splitter will drop down from under the hood. Then there's 4 or 5 nuts that hold on the stock hood scoop. Take the nuts off. Use pliers to squeeze the 2 (iirc) plastic clips that hold the scoop on, and it will pop off the top of the hood.

Reverse the procedure to install the new one. It's very straight forward.

Its been a while since I really drove the car or wash the wheels - the last time I REALLY drove it was in May for the AutoX (besides the weekly drive to work). WE NEED A DRIVE!
I don't plan to run on that wheel for long, but if I'm replacing a wheel, might as well replace a whole set that can take BBK and with at least 7.5" width, that's my thinking ...

lol. i can see how bending the lip of a wheel requires upgrading to something that will allow a BBK. now if only i could convince my wife of that... i'd be nailing every curb in sight.

in response to your post on nasioc russ, Jamie responded, and it so baffles my mind I needed to quote it here and ask all of you a question

if you drive on dirt roads OFTEN
meaning, you LIVE on one... and have no choice but to drive it

you will want to avoid this 'mod' as it allows that much more dirt into your intake
air filter will suffer

Jamie
how does a resonator box stop dirt/dust ?

Becuase, duh, when you back off of muddy roads backwards, or crash into lakes, having your silencer off is dangerous!
