wrx ish: It has everything to do with the weekly meets. Most of our friendships came as a result of the meets - we all hang out through out the week in addition to the meet and are good friends. It's also here for the any new owners in the sac area to come out and make friends in the subaru community to get help with their car, mods, or whatever else they need. In fact, sybir needed some help so he's got my stock wheels right now, and a couple weeks ago I needed his help and he got my tires mounted for me while I slept, since I work nights.

So it has everything to do with the meet. If you'd like to come out, you're welcome, otherwise, we don't need the negative comments. Thanks.

Just because it's bigger than the UCKK thread?
Tell me how one thread makes a difference. We keep our Sac stuff in here, since most Bay stuff doesn't apply.
It's our own smaller community.

ATTENTION:

Meets are being moved back to Saturday. Too many people can't come out anymore, and it's not good, so we're going back to the old skool. Same location, 6pm, Saturday nights. Be there!

I'm updating the first post, and will PM Mr. Wingless for a thread title update.

sonic, thanks for the explanation. my comments however were not negative in any way. i had just browsed through it some and didn't really see how it related to the thread topic. just seemed like a bunch of random chit chat at first glance thats all.

sybir, i could care less about the uckk thread. hell i haven't even been to the meet in 6 months.

i was just trying to figure out what goes on in here, thats all

Cool, sorry, man. Sometimes people see the thread size and us just bsing and try to come in and be negative - thought you were doing the same

Nah, we're just all friends, and not all of us have access to BAIC Chat (doesn't work for me at work ) so this is our little place to keep up with each other and arrange meets or events.

Well the insurance lady gave me my estimate today, $5300. Not as bad as I thought. So a couple weeks in the body shop, and I'll have my baby back, with new wheels too! Centerline discontinued the Excels, so we'll see what I end up with. I'm glad you guys changed the meet back to Sat, not that I'm a Sac regular, but when I come to Sac it's on the weekends. I'll actually be in Sac this weekend and plan to meet up with you guys. Can I still hang without my rex?!

No, we are actually very strict about our only-wrx policy.

(oh wait, our last meet didn't have any WRXs. Outback, Legacy, RS and Mustang )

Hey guys, I have a friend out here in Vegas who just got a Graduate assistantship at CSUS in recreation management. Anyhow, he plans to head out to Sac in July and he is looking for a roommate around CSUS. I know there are some new people around so I didn’t know if maybe there are some Sac state guys hanging around that might need a roommate or have a friend that might. PM me if you want to know more.

Other then that, I will be in town this weekend so I hope to see some of you guys on saturday. How many of you are not going to rim of the world?
