Hey Scott, Any luck on my big s-squared stickers? Magnet or not is okay. I can put them on a magnet if you can get the stickers. sweet

Oh, and Sperry changed his mind, he wants his magnets done in a light pink color, not white.

somehow, by some magical force, the foreman from Senator Subaru went to Maita and was able to get them to cover my car repairs under warranty. Greasing the wheels I suspect. So that should be fine, but now Maita tells me SOA only covers 5 days of rental car coverage, and since I've had the car for 8 I'm going to get charged $100. What a ****ing pain in the ***.

I think I hate Subaru and their dealers now. This is a great car so long as you don't ever have to get service or any work done under warranty
That ish ain't cool. If it goes over 5 days, I believe the dealer has to cover the rental car, legally.....

well, they're covering the first five days, which is ok, but not great. where can I find more info on the legality of this?

I'm just so frustrated with Subaru. I can't stand when a business operates in a manner I find unethical, and I feel this is a perfect example of unethical business practices. From the start, this was not a warranty issue and I would be charged $453.00 + rental car during time of repair. Then I sicked my insurance company on the dealer and their foreman goes over and blows the foreman at Maita. All of a sudden it's a manufacturer warranty issue and apparently this is a problem on all WRXs..a lot of them are coming back to the dealer lately with my same complaints.

Funny, though, that of the 20 or 30 people I know who own a WRX, not one of them has this problem, and I'm the only one who has had an accident where the timing cover was replaced. That sure is odd...hmm. Funny how as soon as money is going to come out of a dealers pocket that the Subaru warranty is the most comprehensive thing on the planet.

I can't wait to get the survey on this one so I can take the time to write up my thoughts and the fact that I'm extremely unhappy with the service I have, and continue to receive from Subaru dealerships. Then I'll send it in, no one will read it and nothing will be done about it. YES!

Oh yeah, that Mormon Emmigrant Trail sucked, even though pashnit raved about it. There are so many rocks on the road I was afraid for my car's life. Maybe I'll wait and try again in a few months.

I couldn't go faster than Wentworth Springs too, maybe it was the altitude.
