Nice pulls, man. I'm running a stock ECU right now so once I get my car back from Maita we're going to baseline my car I'll hopefully be slamming down ~150hp - hope the rollers can handle it!

Okay, I'll wait at the Chevron gas station on the intersection of Prairie City Road and Iron Point Road (just off 50's Prairie City Rd exit) in Folsom at 6am tomorrow morning.

This is an explore drive, so I won't be trying to drive too fast, since I don't know the road. (Lowball can attest to that :P )

My cell is XXXXXXXXXX, just in case.

EDIT: I copied down your number, thanks.

It's screwed up again, but it's not necessarily a new problem. When I had my accident back in August, the timing cover was cracked, so my car was sent to Senator Subaru for the repair. Well, at the dyno day, Nate noticed my car was making this really wierd knocking noise on the pass. side, so I took it in for warranty service and Maita comes back to tell me that the noise is being caused by the timing belt and guide hitting the cover. Apparently, Senator installed the cover wrong somehow. I know they used "aftermarket" bolts instead of OEM to hold the cover on (per Maita) but I don't know if that's contributing to the problem.

So now, Maita obviously won't cover the car under any type of warranty and the car needs a new timing cover and timing belt, and whatever is causing the belt to hit the cover needs to also be fixed. I'm guessing it will be > $500 or $600. Since the damage was originally caused by the accident, my insurance company is still liable for the repairs and all costs, so I've had to contact them and we're working on getting approval for the repairs, which should come Monday.

It's a pain, but I'll be happy to know it's fixed properly, and it seems that my insurance company is going to handle it no problem. I'm driving a Corolla in the mean time..the horsepower is incredible. I got one wheel to spin for about a half turn last night at full throttle in low gear. SWEET.

I would withhold that claim until you see your next insurance bill ... insurance companies are sneaky bastards

Nah, they're cool. This claim is still part of the original claim I made, which the insurance company ruled was not my fault, so my premium won't increase

I really like this insurance company so far. They've been great to me.
