Actually the purpose of the repair was to replace the cracked cover, they just did it wrong (or half assed, or both). I don't know exactly how they did it wrong - maybe the sound has been there the whole time but just now got to the point where it was actually audible. Not sure.

And I'm driving a broke *** Corolla rental. This car sucks. Its got this fake *** wood trim crap in it that looks WAY out of place. I wish I had the Cavalier back :|

last time my car was in the shop at maita, they gave me a base model tacoma.
