no, it's still funny

Hey CS Question:

Was looking at gun stats last night, specifically the M4 vs. the Clarion.

They use the same ammo, but differ on Joules and Velocity.

Velocity: M4 > Clarion
Joules: Clarion > M4

What is a Joule? I'm pretty sure it's a unit of energy but I don't feel like looking it up.

Joule is a unit of energy.

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&l...=Google+Search

Joule equals one Newton Meter or one kilogram * meter * second

A watt is a joule times a second.

1 ft-lb is 1.356 Joules.

so the clarion has a bit more power than the M4, the rounds just fly slower?

Thats what it looks like.

And slower == more prone to innacuracy.

But the first shot with the clarion is accurate and deadly (if it hits the head).

I'm starting to like that gun more then the m4. It acts more like an AK then the m4 does.

I like the Clarion - less recoil than the M4 and considerably cheaper. I get a lot of kills with that gun - crouching is a requirement at a distance though.

Yeah, the funnah definitely isn't killed yet in the "bathroom" thread.

People who don't read the whole thread before posting are still owning themselves

the AK is more powerfull, but you can usualy only get 1 hit with that gun. The M4 does less damage but you can usualy get 2-3 hits per burst with it.

Although, 1 shot to the head with the AK even with helmet kills, the M4 does like 85 pts through the helmet

depends on what Im doing tho. If Im CT and camping a spot, I will rather use the M4 since I can wait and watch an area dn should be able to get off more shots. If Im a T and doing the run and gun, I will take the AK cause all I need to do is pick off with single shots

MP5 is good for the Ts too

I seem to land more rounds faster with that gun. Plus it's super light so I can run nice and fast - there's almost no benefit to switching to pistol for running.
