So, yeah: My house, noonish

Man... somehow my little side comment about a 'foot race' seems to have destroyed suby_dude's $1000 for Buttonwillow fast lap thread. I want to add to the follow-ups there but things have already spiraled out of control. I do think that if we run a foot race at Buttonwillow, we can go about 8-wide into the first turn as long as no one tries anything crazy...

Wow, I might actually be able to get to a meet this weekend! Is there some sort of install day going on? Because I have a set of Hella FF1000s I'm trying to butcher into fitting in my RS (The brackets sit probably 3mm too high, so the light rubs slightly on the bumper).

It's not an actual install day. Mike just happened to be helping out a friend with his simple install. Usually an install day is announced at least a week in advance and starts much earlier in the day so we can take a head count for snacks and beverages. I'm sorry if I gave the impression that this was an 'official' install day.
Come to the meet and bring your lights and brackets so we can see what is involved.

You're welcome to come by my house for our unofficial install day. There's plenty of room and plenty of tools. PM for the address and phone #.
